Mom and I arrived safe and sound in Mountain View on Sunday at 1030 pm. Yes, we left Friday at 7am. And yes, we even stopped to watch the Yankee game Sunday night. That must be some sort of record.
I’ve spent the past week trying to simultaneously set up a classroom and an apartment. Both exhausting tasks, but I think I managed quite well (thanks in large part to my mom, who definitely qualifies as super-mom of the year!)
My apartment currently has a desk, tv stand, desk chair, papasan, and bed. The couch, end tables, and kitchen table will arrive on Friday after work. Once my furniture is all in place, I can start hanging my needlepoints. I will definitely post some pictures when I get them on the walls.
The moving hasn’t left much time for stitching, but I might have started outlining the ANG Cyberworkshop canvas when I needed a break.
I just saw this post. It’s easy to be super-mom when you have a super-daughter! I can’t wait to see the pictures posted when the needlepoints are up on the wall. xoxoxo
